We Found Her!!

Meet the newest addition to the blackwhite dog tradition in our family.
This picture is from her breeder and it was taken at 5 weeks of age. We can't pick her up yet...we have to wait until July 21.

Well, the search for the baby female Boston continues. I keep laughing about all the new "friends' I have made through the internet in my search for the right puppy.

What am I looking for? I would prefer an AKC registered pup. Female. Somewhere local (yes I am willing to drive a couple of hours)- no shipping. I want to be able to visit the kennel or breeders- I want to see the parents, and the pups living conditions. AND must have a health guarantee, so my vet has the opportunity to check out the pup and approve her from a health standpoint- fully refundable purchase price if she doesn't meet his standards.

So this week I have corresponded with at 3 least people via email and I have talked with 4 on the telephone and am currently awaiting a return call from one of them.

So here I sit- waiting- patiently....

I am currently searching for a new black/white dog- a Boston Terrier.
There is a long sad story behind this, which I am sure I will reveal later...but we are looking for a new Boston Terrier since we no longer have one.
I have spent many hours online looking at pictures and doing research on the breed and breeders. I would really like to get another female, however I would consider a male puppy- if the conditions were right. I am trying to do a diligent search and purchase wisely- however I know there are no guarantees. Also- I just cannot justify paying more than $400 for a dog that is going to be a family pet. And yes, I have definitely considered rescue- and search those online also. But my kids want a puppy and not many puppies are rescues.
So...the search continues...
This is where it all began..the ULTIMATE black/white dog..the dalmation.
This is Molly dog dalamation (her registered name is Lady Molly of Macbeth)
We were blessed to be owned by her four 14 wonderful years.
The little buddy and the big buddy

I know that dogs come in all shapes and sizes- but somehow I have noticed a trend in my life...The dogs I have owned (or who have owned me) for the last 15 years have either been black or white or both....Hm...wonder what means, is there signifigance to this trend?
