Dogs at a birthday party

I was very proud of my dogs as we celebrated the human children's birthdays with our family. Overall the dogs behaved nicely. When everyone first began arriving Sophie was running around like a mad boston..Bradley however was very good. In hindsight Bradley was distracted with the sandwiches R was setting out (that worked our really well to).

So here are a couple pics of the dogs during the party. And a couple of them wishing they were allowed to have cake too.

Rainy Day

It is just pouring rain today and very COLD. Sophie thinks she wants to go outside and then she sees the rain flooding down at the edge of the patio and puts her tail between her legs and ears back and runs back to the door. She is trying and really wants to go outside and play but the little princess doesn't want to get wet. Whereas Bradley is not bothered- he went out in the rain and got a drink of water out of the swimming pool. One of the advantages of having longer and thinker water repellant hair!

So I got a new lens for my camera and I am very excited...so I had to try it out on a few new pics of the dogs. Doesn't Bradley's hair cut look nice?

Boston Terrier party

Sophie got to go play with about 10 other Boston Terriers today. She had a good time- but she really prefered the people. It is interesting how dogs have personalities and sense which other dog personalities they like or get along with. It is just interesting to watch dog behavior and see which dogs plea nice together.

So here is a picture of Sophie guarding the water bowl (or trying to stay away from other dogs) She is still a silly puppy. She was very well behaved today and I think she enjoyed her outing.
